Good morning. It is Saturday. I have been home almost a week. And things were so far behind that I have just now had time to send out a blog on what is happening.
First of all, I did not get picked up from the airport until 1 am Monday morning. All I will say about that is miss comunication. So, grab a few hours of sleep and then got started. No water or heat still when I got here. So off to Charlie’s house. I always say he can fix anything. And he can. And once again Charlie came thru. Checking the braker box finding the problem. Then calling pud. As at first it looked like we were going to have to have a company come out and replace the whole braker box. About $5000.00. That I do not have. Then we had the pud come out. The guy found the problem. A main braker leading to the braker box. It was old and they do not make the brakers anymore. Is what the guy told me. Not good. So I am praying that god can help. As there is no money right now. I But god came thru. The pud guy had one in his truck. He let me know that they are about $750.00. But he did not put it in and I did not see him put it in. Thank you lord. That was his comment to me.
So on to the well. That Connie’s boyfriend Brad has pulled out and is saying that the pump is no good. So Charlie gathered it up and had me take him and it to a well guy. Who tested it and said it was fine. We also explained to him that we had sediment in the bottom of the well. He explained that it would take him about 3 hours and two guys to pump that out. At $178.00 an hour. Charlie thanked him and we went back home. Charlie, had an idea. He always says if you can do it yourself and save money. And he had an idea. So, put the well back together and then put a hose with a high pressure nozzle on it down the well and turned it on to mix up the sediment. then turned on the outside water and ran it until the water was clear. Then did it again. Well it has worked. Still doing it everyday it is slow but working. CHARLIE, saves the day again. He is amazing. God has put him my life and I am so glad.
So, now on to some other things. The ladies are getting real close to kidding and I am going to bring them home for that. So, cleaning out an area here today. Also, taking some chickens to the sell barn.
And I now have a new boer buck. Well, he is just a little guy right now. But is beautiful. He is coming from 3 Eagles Ranch in Winlock. I am so excited about him. All brown. Hopefully he will put some color in the herd.
Mistletoe, my last baby born in 2011 is just growing. She is going to be a nice looking girl. Spadie is still down but alert. It is going to take awhile for the copper problem to turn around. But it is working. Nothing I can do about the small babies and lack of growth up till now. But going forward. Hopefully it is solved. Until the next thing comes up that I know nothing about. And then I will tackle that with God by my side. If nothing else. All of what I have gone thru. I will use to teach other people. To hopefully save them the hurt of going thru this.
So I am going to sign off for now. Go check the barn and get ready for the chicken auction. And have a great day.
